I am accepting new clients without insurance. - I am honored to have been working in this field for 10+ years. I have worked with many people in the most dire of circumstances and been a witness to them transforming their experiences into a life of purpose. I have worked extensively with individuals in crisis whether in the moment or in the past. I have specifically helped people that have been involved with the corrections - prison system, foster care & DCFS, people suffering from schizophrenia, personality disorders and trauma. Helping those with substance use disorders is another area I have experience and knowledge.
I received my Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Utah and Masters Degree in Counseling/Mental Health Counseling from University of Phoenix. I went on to specialize and receive a certificate from the University of Utah Addictions Program in Addictions Counseling. I currently work my full time job helping with suicide prevention and crisis.
Working with many different age groups, people with all types of backgrounds and experiences that have influenced who they are today has helped create my mantra - "Aim to Inspire." My clients inspire me daily and I see so many humans grow and learn who they have been and who they want to be. It truly is a privilege to be a part of the journey to healing.
