I work in pursuit of a greater understanding of a persons life and mind, everything-feelings, beliefs, memories, dreams and even seemingly irrelevant passing thoughts. Emotional healing takes place in a safe space through the empathic work of a committed relationship between psychotherapist and patient that is radically individualized/fully confidential. My approach is with the concern of relieving immediate symptoms and resolving current life problems. Patients are encouraged to talk as freely as possible in an environment that can enhance their awareness into how they see themselves and the world around them with increased sense of freedom and validation.

I work by appointment only and I like to see patients a minimum of once weekly. My orientation is talk therapy that is psychodynamic from supportive to an insight oriented approach. Eating Disorder Group For Women
The aim of the group is to understand the meaning of the eating disorder and how it is expressed in relation with other members in the group, and to each individual. The group talks about all concerns, body image issues, exercise issues, difficulties with control, identity, intimacy, the role of shame, the role of the group, all such topics are talked about together in the group. All members meet for consultation prior to joining the group to enable the most efficient and optimal outcome . All inquires are welcome.
