I provide Christian counseling, focusing on bringing faith and mental health together. Our wounds from some of the most important relationships can distort the way we see God, ourselves, and the world, impacting our relationships. With Holy Spirit's help and the sacred space that counseling provides, I'd love to walk with you to attend to those wounds with compassion, love, and the truth from God's Word. My approach is holistic (as in we will consider the health of your spirit, soul, mind, and body) and trauma-informed. Together, we will attend with curiosity and compassion to understand and heal what is at the root of your pain.
I specialize in EMDR therapy to conceptualize the counseling process so that we can better understand the memories causing you pain. Part of EMDR is to integrate bilateral movements (eye, auditory, tactile) to help you process distressing memories in an adaptive way so that you can move on from those memories and not feel as though you're reliving them.
I work with women who are ready to commit to and invest in the hard and rewarding work of counseling.
