I'm a clinical psychologist with 27 years of experience. I treat anxiety, depression and stress. I'm also a sex therapist and couples therapist. I help individuals and couples of any sexual orientation work through individual and partner-related sexual issues like sexual compatibility, desire discrepancy, infidelity repair, chronic interpersonal conflict, and exploration of alternative sexual styles like open relationships.

Over the past 42 years, I have devoted my practice to the treatment of people who want to feel happier with themselves, their relationships with their children, spouses, or family of origin. After several years of working as a Clinical Psychologist in Lima-Perú, I obtained my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in the United States. I conduct therapy both in English and Spanish and I have worked extensively with the Latino community.

I have 25 years experience in psychotherapy with special training in couples work, family work, adoption, adolescents and women's reproductive health challenges, including depression and anxiety in pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, termination, perinatal loss, postpartum depression and menopause. I am a licensed clinical social worker intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) specializing in the treatment of adolescents, young adults and adults suffering from mood disorders, depression, anxiety and borderline personality disorder (BPD). DBT is a therapy designed to teach people how to live in the moment, cope healthily with stress, regulate emotions and improve relationships with others.
