The majority of my practice is working with women and "women's issues." Many women seek guidance and counsel as they deal with the stages and changes in their lives. Childbirth through menopause, there are challenges that can provoke thought, action or concerns. Trauma from childhood sexual abuse can cause depression and anxiety. I have worked with many women concerning these issues. The use of EMDR therapy provides a tool to process through trauma and improve outcomes.
I work with many women who have suffered trauma in their lives through loss, domestic violence or abuse. I also work with women with multiple personalities. My goal is to provide a safe, peaceful and confidential place to be heard, to heal and improve daily life.
I am an animal lover! When a precious pet passes on, people truly grieve and their pain is real. Statements about the loss of a pet are often minimized and ignored. Especially in people living alone, a pet is profound asset to their lives and losing that companion is unbearable. I work with people who are grieving that loss.
