I work with people of all ages to teach tools and techniques that increase personal awareness and encourage full expression. I am trained in many areas which allows me to work with individuals to help them discover the method of expression that feels most comfortable. I am able to facilitate art therapy sessions or talk therapy sessions depending on what feels right for you. My clients learn how to listen with loving kindness and self-acceptance to the wisdom of their own hearts so that they are able to lead more vibrant, inspired, authentic lives.

Welcome! Choosing a therapist is a big decision, and I appreciate being considered! While my background and training have focused strongly on child, adolescent and family therapy, I also work with individual women and couples. I sometimes say that I use a "family doc" model of psychotherapy. That is, I might see an anxious child individually and then, because kids' issues are so intertwined with their families will work with the whole family for a period of time. Or I might spend some sessions with an individual woman, who would then like to bring her partner for couples therapy.

Hypnosis is a safe and effective tool for achieving personal goals, whether you want to stop doing something (smoking, over eating, biting fingernails, feeling anxious, worrying, any unwanted habit) or want to start doing something (eating better, exercising, improve concentration, test scores, even athletic ability). It can be utilized to improve mood, reduce tension and stress, relieve feelings of overwhelm and teach the body to deeply relax. Further, Hypnotherapy is well documented as an effective treatment for chronic pain and complements medical treatment. Regular practice of hypnotism reduces blood pressure and improves sleep.
