I use evidence-based therapeutic modalities like ACT, DBT, SFBT, and somatic experiencing in an eclectic approach to help people manage a variety of mental health issues.
As human beings we know life has a way of creating challenges we may find difficult to face on our own. I firmly believe each of us possess fundamental inner-strengths that can not only help us cope with these challenges, but flourish and thrive together. My goal as a therapist is to come alongside clients in a compassionate nonjudgmental stance to help identify your strengths and how to translate them into meaningful growth both within yourself and in your relationships. I value using a mind/body approach and a warm, relational atmosphere in therapy. I am LGBTQIA+-affirming, sex-positive, kink and poly-friendly.

My work is influenced by cognitive behavioral therapy, intersectional gender dynamics, racial trauma, navigating oppressive systems, relational/cultural modalities, attachment theory/EFT, Gottman and process oriented somatic complex trauma modality of NARM(Neuroaffective Relational Model).
Therapy is a space to explore who you are, were & want to be. Change and growth can be scary & difficult but also beautiful & freeing. My hope is to help you move through that process in the way that works best for you. Working toward a greater insight and awareness of our experiences can help us to embrace and enhance connection to ourselves and others. I provide culturally & racially conscious therapy services using the social work adage of beginning where my client is. I see my role as being present with my clients as they face and navigate the grey areas of life, while increasing agency, sense of self & healthy coping skills.

I work with people who are seeking to better understand themselves and to deepen their connection to themselves and the world around them. I believe that the seeds of a felt sense of aliveness already exist within you and therapy can provide the opportunity and safe container to nurture those seeds. My work is informed by a background in the creative arts, as well as advanced training in the feminist relational model of treating trauma, Internal Family Systems (Level 1 in progress) and Somatic Experiencing (completion of 3 year training program).

I will guide you on subconsciously accepting a positive self concept applying a holistic, transpersonal, and mindfulness-based cognitive approach while integrating somatic work, reiki &hypnotherapy.
What circumstances shifted you into this specific moment in time...to bring this bio into your awareness? Was it the guilt that has consumed you since morning of how you didn’t show up exactly how you envisioned being the best parent...or that you have become conscious to the burden of unrealistic expectations upon self and have decided to courageously dive into the depths of your shadows? Perhaps you have questions about self you never have had before and feeling like no one can relate. All you would like is for someone to hold space while you allow emotions like sadness or anger to flow and feel you are able to cry without shame!

Waitlist for new clients
You’ll discuss and explore your relationships and sexual health from a research-based, somatic, relational perspective.
You get a pit in your stomach when you think about, discuss, or engage in sex; you no longer or never enjoyed it. You have pain, erection, arousal, or orgasm issues and feel stuck. You're curious about trying on a sexual identity or playing in kink/BDSM. You have out-of control or shameful behaviors, dilemmas, porn use, or masturbation problems. You don’t know how to talk to your partner(s) about sex, let alone pulling their load more at home. Religion or the feeling of shame greatly limits you. You just can’t communicate. You can’t trust or forgive them – you’re too hurt and angry. Let me engage you in sex and relationship therapy.

There is no prescriptive way that somatic or movement work will look, I invite movers and non-movers alike into a space where we attend to ALL of you.
I believe my role as a therapist is to help you hold and find meaning in your pain, and delight with you in what is playful and pleasureful in your life. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I am interested in creating a genuine, transparent and accountable relationship with you. My hope is that within our relationship we can identify and interrupt harmful patterns that may emerge in your relationships and reinforce patterns that bring you joy and connection. Therapy is inherently political, and I aim to engage with my clients in ways that are liberatory, anti-racist and affirming of their intersecting identities.

I am a relational body-centered, somatic psychotherapist specializing in the resolution of overwhelming life events and trauma.
I believe that we humans heal in the context of relationship and that therapy is the process in which we find our way to our whole selves. In the therapy room, I join with clients to co-create their unique path to wholeness by realizing their inherent strengths and utilizing them to developing a 'tool belt' of strategies for which to work through life's struggles. Together we orient to the client's inherent capacity to gain mastery of their own functioning from the lens of their truth.

I borrow from attachment theory, parts work, mindfulness, systems theory, and somatic therapy.
As a queer, sex-positive and neurodivergent affirming therapist, I am passionate about working with folks whose experience is shaped by feeling "different"- due to sexuality, gender, ADHD/Autism, or relationship orientation. Many of my clients experience interpersonal challenges including social anxiety, people-pleasing, and fears of rejection. I am here to provide gentle feedback about the ways you can be kinder to yourself and practice firm but flexible boundaries.

I use an eclectic approach that draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, somatic experiencing, and dialectic behavior skills.
I believe that we are only able to make changes once we’ve learned to meet ourselves wherever we might be at–and I want to help you build the tools so you can meet you! I provide neurodivergent-affirming care to people with ADHD and Autism. That means that I want to help you work with your brain, rather than fighting against it–which is an exhausting struggle! We can talk about any number of issues that may also be impacting you: anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, disordered eating, substance use. My goal is to help you figure out what’s important to you and help you move towards those things you value.

Female Therapists

Does it matter what gender my therapist is?

In general, this is not an important factor, as there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or ingrained beliefs about how people of different genders think and behave. Exploring the roots of such preferences and considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender truly matters to them.

Should I see a female therapist?

Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist, either because they believe that a woman will be able to relate to their specific challenges (for example, sexism in the workplace) or because they imagine feeling more comfortable disclosing sensitive information to a woman. Such beliefs may not turn out to be accurate, however, and adhering too rigidly to a gender preference can at times hinder a client from finding the best therapeutic match.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?

Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists—both men and women—may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?

It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
