My experience of over 15 years is in various treatment modalities from psychoanalytic training to cognitive behavioral techniques. My techniques have achieved success for people who are trying finding a life partner, having or adopting children , recoving from the loss of a spouse and partner, restructing careers and blending families. Did you know that the most important part of communication is INVISIBLE! It’s more than words, gestures, and tone. It's called “mentalizing.” Mentalizing is a genetic brain network used for making sense of what people say--It helps us understand the mental states of others and thus, know how they might respond to us. Genetic variations in this brain network can lead to great skill or mild to severe difficulties in communication effectiveness. A person can have average to superior intelligence and still have difficulty understanding the mental states of others. Connection with others may be difficult to establish or preserve.

Andrea is an experienced Bilingual Psychotherapist. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Fordham University, and the Clinic and Training Director of the Systemic Psychotherapy Center. She developed her principle of systemic psychotherapy based on the utilization of a diverse range of clinical techniques (from science and art), but also a broad capacity of introspection (from spirituality). Andrea's commitment to healing led her to create training programs and psychotherapeutic techniques to expand awareness, such as flamenco psychotherapy (a dance and music technique to heal somatic complaints caused by traumatization).
