Couples therapy: I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT leads a couple to get right to the heart of the problems that keep relationships unsatisfying and disconnected. The goal of EFT is to help you create safety and security in your relationship so that deep connection can grow from the practice of honesty and vulnerability. EFT has been found to be successful with about 75% of couples.

My approach in working with individuals is both holistic and client-centered. I'm an art therapist, psychotherapist, and former teacher with over 10 years of experience in the education and mental health fields, with a strong background in mindfulness techniques.
