I’m passionate about helping adults, teens and couples navigate the difficult moments and the bumps in the road that limit us. I understand that reaching out for support and finding the right person to guide you through your journey to healing can be a challenging process. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, unresolved /intergenerational trauma, relationship challenges, postpartum depression and life transitions. I also enjoy helping couples reconnect and improve communication. My unique background (I am Indian and Japanese) gives me deep insight into multicultural issues, and the challenge of finding your identity.
My approach is eclectic and holistic. I am Person-centered, Attachment-Based, Somatic, Mindfulness, CBT and also Psychodynamic, focusing on understanding old patterns as a door to lasting change. I believe in the mind/body connection and use a somatic-based approach. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and individuals.
We all have the capacity to heal and see ourselves as whole; my training as a therapist puts me in the unique position to be your guide. Its important for me to create a safe, non-judgmental space to explore, connect and share. I look forward to working with you in your journey towards self-acceptance, connection and growth.
