I specialize in teaching adults how to have a more satisfying sense of control over their own lives, and a greater sense of connection to themselves and others through individualized, supportive therapy sessions. Stress makes us anxious. When we are anxious, we become reactive and defensive. Each of us has a unique set of unconscious, habitual coping strategies that kicks-in automatically under stress. I use a unique combination of therapeutic tools to teach men and women how to respond rather than react to the big and the small and the positive and the negative stressors that life deals us.
I help adults understand the specific ways they react to life's stressors and how it plays an persistent role in their suffering. And I teach them how to have the choice to respond in ways that reduce their suffering and allow the best of themselves to flourish.
The Enneagram is a dynamic system that empowers individuals to better understand themselves and others--quickly! It names the obstacle between you and your best self and provides a roadmap and compass for navigating the route!! I have found it to be an incredibly powerful and beneficial therapeutic tool.
