I work at ARC Counseling and Wellness online and in our California, Texas and Louisiana offices. I utilize treatment approaches based upon the unique needs of each client while considering the scientific efficacy of each therapeutic intervention. My experience and training have made me sensitive to the fact that no two clients are the same and thus I approach treatment with consideration of each client's values, cultural identity, religious or spiritual beliefs, strengths, and life experiences. I endeavor to provide a supportive therapeutic environment in which clients may become empowered and move towards a greater quality of life.

Life happens and sometimes it dims our joy and makes us forget how strong we can be. I want to help people get that back! Using various approaches, I assist people with finding hope and strength to overcoming any challenges they may be experiencing and to have a higher quality of life. I treat each person individually as there is no one size fits all approach, everyone will have different needs.

My approach to working with families and children is grounded in developing self-awareness. I use a relationally based approach to develop a strong connection and provide insight so that families are able to reflect on long standing patterns of behavior to heal relationships. For me, a compassionate and non-judgmental approach is key in working with clients in order to identify maladaptive coping patterns to help repair and strengthen relationships. My goal is to increase a person's emotional presence so that they can be fully available to their families and with themselves.

Seeking help for depression, anxiety, self-harm, eating disorders, or trauma can be difficult for many people. Stigma of mental health is also a barrier to finding help, and you may be feeling shame for simply hurting. You want to find someone who understands you, someone who will not judge your lifestyle, someone you can trust. Reducing the stigma of mental health and providing a safe space are things I deeply value and bring into my practice every day.

I specialize in helping women and children overcome trauma and the effects of painful relationship experiences. I am passionate about helping you move from victim to victorious, helping you to resolve dissonance between your beliefs and your experiences, restore interpersonal relationships to wholeness, and create empowerment by strengthening internal and external supports. I am certified in EMDR and trained in Brainspotting, both powerful modalities that work at a sub-cortical, neurological level to provide relief from the effects of trauma, as well as being trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga as an adjunctive treatment modality.

It is my experience that the best results come when a therapist and client work as a team, focusing on specific goals. It is the therapeutic alliance that yields healing and movement towards accomplishing goals.
