Hello, I'm Latrice and my goal is to help you heal & recover from past trauma. I have been successful in the past with helping individuals learn skills to cope with stress, manage anxiety, reduce symptoms of depression and resolve issues related to childhood trauma.

I approach therapy from a person-centered point of view, because I hold the belief that every person is the expert on their own self. Sometimes we just need help understanding what that means. That’s where I come in as a therapist, to walk with you, reflect and understand the knowledge you already have of yourself. I find my joy and fulfillment in understanding others, and taking part in their journey to self discovery.

I am Anna Pavlisova, and I am a graduate student intern completing my practicum at Abilene Christian University to satisfy the requirement to obtain my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. As I start my journey as a marriage and family therapy graduate student intern under the supervision of Dr. Kristina Dingus Keuhlen, Ph.D., LMFT-S (202859), I strive to foster a safe and non-judgmental space, tailoring my client-focused approach to meet each client unique needs.

Leslie Babalola is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas who has been practicing since 2017. She has a Master Degree in Counseling from Jackson State Mississippi. Leslie Babalola has several years of advance study in trauma related services. She has a history of providing a variety of clinical services to both adolescents and adults. She is dedicated to providing supportive and helpful counsel to all of her clients. Leslie has experience working with both parents and children involved in traumatic situations. She provided step by step plans to help guide and support families and clients through crisis situations.

I strive to be a humanistic therapist. I use my experience with you to help guide you through therapy and build a relationship of trust and healing. My approach is to consider the whole person, mind, body and spirit and connect with you to better understand the therapy experience. Working with individuals, families and couples through the process of healing is what I strive for. I have been a therapist for 19 years and have experience related to inpatient and outpatient treatment facilities including community mental health, wellness centers, and private practice.

My experience has prepared me to work with body image issues, crises, self-harm, suicide ideation, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, interpersonal issues, grief, coping skills, religious trauma, disordered eating, and LGBTQIA+ matters. I specifically have a heart for clients who are navigating and processing their sexual orientation and/or gender identity. I also love supporting individuals who are working through religious trauma or concerns. I have deep understanding and empathy for how difficult it can be to navigate personal growth through the lens of changing or leaving behind belief systems, cultures, and communities.

Perhaps confusion of the past, the unknown of the future, or inability to make sense of what is happening now led you here. One thing you should know is that, so often, people enter my office weathering one of their largest storms to date. Or maybe, it’s not their largest storm, but a battle continuously claiming defeat. It’s exhausting; life can absolutely be exhausting. Walking through those doors, meeting someone you don’t know, and sharing your life story with them can also be unsettling. I will do my best to help you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the duration of your counseling journey.
