Welcome! My passion is to collaborate with clients to remove barriers and find strength within themselves in order to heal and find peace in their lives. I feel that therapy is most successful when the client comes to these changes through their own empowerment and psychoeducation. We can then work together to find healthy solutions to their issues and realize their needs. I have experience working in both hospital and private outpatient settings. This ranged from group therapy to individual therapy to case management. Through these different experiences, I have practiced in both mental health and substance use disorder treatment.
I utilize a Strengths-based and Person- Centered therapy to be sensitive to the client and their presenting needs. I use a combination of DBT, CBT and supportive practices in order to develop knowledge and coping mechanisms needed to move forward. I'm trained in CPT for PTSD which is uniquely trauma focused and highly effective for PTSD treatment.
I believe mental health struggles leave us feeling alone and isolated. I am here to help you work through that feeling of isolation to rebuild a healthy experience by creating a safe environment for your specific needs to heal and grow. You are not alone.
