My name is Felicia Black, a clinical therapist practicing statewide through Telehealth in the State of Virginia to meet the therapeutic needs of the community. My clinical specialty is Trauma and Trauma-Informed Care. I work with pre-teens, adolescents, individuals, families, couples, and groups. I use a number of therapeutic techniques modalities that fit my client's needs including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focus CBT, DBT, Brief-Solution Therapy, and Family Therapy.
I am particularly passionate about the impact of stress and chronic trauma in the human body and improving interventions to support trauma recovery for better emotional, physical, and relationship health. A trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered approach guides my practice.
