About
Your healing matters. Healing can often look like having stronger boundaries, less avoidance, improved work performance, and more satisfaction in relationships. Unresolved trauma can make your relationships, parenting, work performance, bodily functioning, and overall day-to-day routine feel unbearable. I provide therapy short-term or long-term to help you cope with what is lingering e.g. stress, anxiety, depression, or triggers to previous trauma. I adapt my therapy style depending on the person and context because each responds differently to psychotherapy. Providing a safe space is always my first priority.
I specialize in working with trauma recovery. I use several approaches to help you experience healing by exploring how past events affect your present relationships, developing coping strategies to better manage unresolved trauma, and factoring in your context (culture, socioeconomic status, gender, etc). I'm relational and practical in my therapy approach.
I strive to provide culturally responsive therapy. I also really enjoy empowering underrepresented populations to succeed in the workplace. If you're new to therapy, this pandemic is affecting all of us. Anxiety is rising. Stigma towards seeking out help is decreasing. There is no better time than the present to reach out. Your healing matters.
