People often come to me feeling stuck in their relationships or dating lives. Modern dating feels hopeless, sex or emotional intimacy feels hard, infidelity has eroded trust, the same arguments keep arising, or the spark of passion is just... gone. I encourage curiosity about patterns rather than judging or condemning them. I am especially interested in single people looking for love, and couples seeking support. I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, where I studied dream work and unconscious processes.
My style is upfront, curious, and collaborative. I’m not the kind of therapist who sits silently nodding. We talk directly about what’s happening and why, and work together to figure out what changes can be made to shift stubborn dynamics. I offer dating and general life coaching for people wanting a more directive and structured approach than therapy.
I am accepting new clients on a self-pay basis. Soon I will take Blue Cross as well. In addition to dating/couples I will also consider individuals for depth work (those interested in exploring dreams, wishes, or intrusive thoughts/fantasies are particularly encouraged to reach out).
