I use a client-centered approach to help clients discover their strengths and feel empowered to make changes, especially when feeling stuck. I provide support, empathy and insight with integrity and humor to allow folks to step back from stressful situations, gain perspective and feel better.
In addition to being an LCSW, I am also an EMDR Certified therapist. EMDR therapy helps people reprocess past events in order to alleviate current symptoms. I love using EMDR to help with trauma, emotional issues, and old patterns that seem to stay stuck when other more traditional therapies aren't working.
