About
It is ok to ask for help. Your mind knows this, but you feel a sense of unease as you try to find the balance each day between what’s right for you and what’s right for your loved ones. You are fiercely independent: able to handle the to-do list, and your friends & family can always count on you. When you have built a life on putting others first, it can be petrifying to ask for help and to admit to having needs. But-you also know therapy has worked for you in the past when you have struggled to find a way forward in your relationship, career, creative, or inner life.
My specialty is guiding people on their own paths to their truths, their feelings and needs and communicate effectively, using a combination of strengths-based, mindfulness-based, and attachment theory perspectives. As you work with me, you begin to notice that you are more aware of a mind-body connection that makes things even more clear.
Learning self-compassion and asking for what you need can be a daunting process, and it is also a rich one. I look forward to meeting you and seeing how we can work together! Currently not accepting new clients.
