As your therapist I place an invested interest in supporting you to thrive beyond your goals. In my practice, I draw from 15+ years of experience working at inpatient and outpatient hospital settings treating adults and teens heal childhood wounds, rebuild attachments and solidify relationships with loved ones. I specialize in short-term therapy addressing depression, anxiety and possible mood changes. Our work together would involve building on assertiveness skills to face challenges and overcome stressful life transitions. My hope is to guide you in building a stronger and healthier sense of self to achieve a more fulfilled life.
I have a psychodynamic orientation but apply an integrative approach and can apply a combination of evidence based therapeutic practices: CBT, DBT, IFS, Strategic, Positive Psych, Motivational and Solution Focused. Thus, I try to tailor my work to your needs and can apply guided imagery as well as mindfulness based body meditations to address somatic sympt.
