I am the owner and LPC of practice Fear Not Counseling in Mesquite, Texas. I am passionate about recovery and giving people hope and tools needed to overcome the fears and problems of life. I specialize in addiction recovery, marriage, family work, and individuals going from one stage of life to another. As a Gottman Trained therapist, I work with couples who are struggling, using methods from this specialized training to assist in healing and deepening family and relationships. I provide flexible hours and payment schedules if needed. My desire is to bring counseling to ALL who are seeking it.
I have dealt with different life situations personally and since becoming a counselor, I am constantly reading and staying current on the latest research and methods to help overcome fears & struggles when life becomes difficult. I have several cognitive strategies that allow people to get outside their heads and make productive changes.
I work with adults and children who are battling addictions, depression, anxiety, codependency, job-related stress, marital discord, "prodigal" situations, relationship struggles, aging parents' trauma, and many more problems. We peel back the layers together so you can find the root cause and truly find solutions, not simply band aid fixes.
