Hello, I'm Fauzia, and I have been a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over three decades, working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. My specialty areas are self care tool box, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, anxiety disorder, addiction and many other emotional issues that impact one's daily life. I use various interventions to help my client get the best results, each individual is different therefore not one approach works for all, and I have extensive experience in CBT, coping skills, mindfulness, insight, and self reflection among many others.
When I am working with clients, what I have found most helpful is listening, respecting, empathizing, and connecting - which means I must be present to receive and to teach ways you can heal and transform, become aware of your true nature and who you truly are, free yourself from the narratives, constructs, concepts and labelling.
