Hello, I am Fatima Flores. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am here to support you along your journey of growth. I am passionate about helping others, to explore and navigate through life challenges through a person-centered approach. My focus areas include working with families, youth and adolescents, and young adults through different hardships including adjusting to changes, behaviors, and other life stressors. I use a person-centered approach in which empathy and having someone who is genuinely there to support. Also based on my background I utilize a cognitive and behavioral approach to explore how thoughts, etc.
My background includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I have most experience working with adjustment disorders, behavioral diagnoses, anxiety, and depression. I have an empathetic and easy-going tone. I aim to make you feel comfortable and at ease during the session.
I have always geared towards being able to provide a space to listen to others. Seeing my clients progress and how therapeutic it can be to have a safe space to talk to someone drives me to do this work. I believe in supporting the client to create their goals. What does the client want to achieve?
