Challenges are a part of life, overcoming them can sometimes feel like an uphill battle. Lifestyle and circumstance changes are possible with the appropriate direction and motivation. I have worked in a variety of settings dealing with a wide range of issues. Thanks to a multicultural background, I have a unique insight to understanding cultural issues that can affect certain behaviors. I also have experience in dealing with depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, as well as substance abuse across all age groups. I work extensively in helping individuals and couples adjust or overcome life stressors.

At Mindful Directions Counseling Center we also are offering "Distance Counseling" for those individuals that are not located in the Miami area. I am currently a Licenced Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I am also bilingual (Spanish/English). I also provide supervision for registered interns. Slots available.
