Announcement icon I currently provide therapy services via video and in person. I allow my clients to choose their preference based on their need and comfort.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space that is warm, accepting, and trauma informed. A goal of mine also includes de-stigmatizing mental health therapy, so I understand the courage it takes to reach out for extra support. Whether through individual or couples counseling, we can work together to help you gain insight and flourish within your relationships. Therapy is your space to be your true self, to allow yourself to feel vulnerable, honest, and express the more difficult emotions. Therapy is your space to heal without judgment and grow to be the best version of yourself, however you come to define that.
I am fascinated by how our family relationships can impact other relationships, our sense of self, and our place in the world. In our therapeutic journey, we will think about how your early childhood experiences have impacted your current interpersonal relationships, and how your identities have been shaped by your cultures and environments.
My unique, yet collective experiences, as a child of immigrant parents and as a South Asian woman of color, provide me with the ability to recognize why family and cultures are so important in the therapeutic work. If you feel ready to take the next step, I welcome you to schedule a complimentary consultation with me.
