Adult DBT Skills Group
Group training is like a class - organized in four modules: core mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. It takes 6 months to complete all skills classes, but most clients take the four DBT modules more than once. Group skills training is NOT group therapy. Each week, you will be lead in a mindfulness exercise that is designed to help you practice skills of sitting with emotions or sensations without taking impulsive action. You will also learn a new skill each week for tolerating tough situations, regulating difficult emotions, improving communication with others and living a more satisfying life.

Equine Facilitated Therapy/DBT
Equine facilitated psychotherapy, or EFP, is a specialized form of therapy where a human therapist partners with a horse or pony, to provide therapeutic growth, emotional support and healing. We combine DBT skills and EFP to create a unique, hands on experience where clients learn and practice at the same time.
