I ascribe to a humanistic and psychodynamic approach and philosophy of counseling with some cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) mixed in. I focus on client’s emotions, perspectives, and life experiences, rather than just treating symptoms. I believe each client is different, what works for one will not work for all. Therefore, I take a dynamically informed approach when creating a treatment plan that will work best for each individual. I work with clients ages 12 and up.
I am most well-versed in dealing with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Grief, Mood Disorders, Dissociative Disorders, and Personality Disorders. I particularly enjoy working with individuals who have endured significant trauma, those with Borderline Personality Disorder & clients with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (or tendencies).
