As a BIPOC Therapist, I strive to provide a decolonizing, holistic and culturally sensitive space in which an individual can find healing. I have significant experience working with individuals that have experienced family trauma and issues related to family of origin which are often impacted by Colonialism, Imperialism, and forced migration. My clients are those who need assistance in navigating the challenges of their lives as professionals, siblings, parents, friends or partners impacted by various oppressive systems.
My Approach draws heavily from Liberation-Based Psychology, Anti-oppression, & social justice. I have an Intersectional lens as well as strong awareness & sensitivity to an individual's various identities and how they are perceived in the world.I have a strong focus on family of origin and processing generational trauma.
I believe that personal and relational problems are often linked to broader social issues, systemic oppression and family of origin. I want to help those that are struggling to live in an unjust world by aligning to make positive, necessary changes.
