Farmington, LCSW, Clinical Social Work/Therapist in Farmington
It takes a tremendous amount of courage to enter therapy. My intention is to offer a treatment approach that compassionately matches your unique needs. Together we mindfully study the issues and concerns in a safe and supportive environment. As the process of therapy unfolds, you would come away with new skills and insight to face the challenges of your life. My belief in the capacity for wholeness and healing helps you hold on to hope while you peel away the layers to uncover your authentic self. If you are worn out from old ways of coping, call me today.
I have 30 plus years of experience in working with adults and groups. My expertise includes issues around grief/loss, substance abuse, life transitions, depression/anxiety, trauma and compulsive overeating. My background includes Gestalt training, Cognitive- Behavioral group facilitation, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Trauma Training, Mindfulness- Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness Based Self-Compassion training.

Where Mindfulness meets movement

Come join us monthly for a Meditation and movement experience. Angela Mazur, LCSW, will begin two hour workshop with meditation, followed by one hour of Let Your Yoga Dance, led by Theresa Nygren. We will be moving in a dance yoga fusion making our way up through the chakras, the seven energy centers that run along the spine accompanied to music from around the world. The final part of time together is spent in reflection and co-listening. If you are looking for something that combines meditation and movement, this is the experience for you!
