FamilyWorks Counseling offers support to typical and atypical children of all ages and their families through individual counseling, group therapy, school consultation, crisis intervention, etc. We also have a clinical psychologist who can test and evaluate the kids seen as well. Our philosophy is that at various junctures of life, every individual can benefit from a a little support.
We specialize in individual and group counseling--including work around social skill development, conflict resolution, impulse control, and much more. In addition, we work regularly those with anxiety and depression. We can offer group or staff programming around any concern identified and work with many area school systems to create psychoeductional programming for their students.
We offer a broad spectrum of personalized services and tailor our therapeutic interventions to the needs of the client. We address all necessary settings--assisting with parenting skills, teacher trainings, and working in a hands-on, pragmatic way with our young clients to help them to achieve a greater comfort in their daily lives.
