I work with children with learning, behavioral and emotional needs and their parents. If you are struggling with your child's behavior, feel that your family and friends do not understand your child or are judging your parenting, and have "tried everything," I would like to offer a safe place for you and your child to talk and get support. If you have concerns with your child's learning process and suspect that your child may have a learning disability, ADHD, or Autism, a psychological evaluation can help to identify strengths and weaknesses, factors that impede learning, and may result in a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

As a School Psychologist/Licensed Psycho-Educational Specialist I have extensive training and experience working with children and adolescents that struggle with learning, emotion, and social skills. Early identification and remediation of lagging skills are associated with greater academic success, improved interpersonal relationships, higher earnings, greater employment stability, and lower likelihood of involvement with the criminal justice system (Aos, Lieb, Mayfield, Miller, & Pennucci, 2004).

I work with individuals, private attorneys and Guardian ad litems and through court appointment to provide an array of specialized forensic assessments, forensic file reviews, and forensically sensitive therapy with individuals and high conflict families in the family court system including but not limited to the following areas: high-conflict coparenting, parent-child contact problems, visitation resistance and refusal and parental alienation. Member of a multi-modal treatment team providing treatment for family systems with parent-child contact problems.

Dr. Yelder is also a verified Service Connected Disabled Veteran of the United States Marine Corps who was Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corps.
