Red Rock Psychological Health’s mission is to provide you with competent mental health services to help you succeed with life's challenges. We specialize in treating mood and behavior disorders, substance use issues, trauma, sexual abuse, sex addiction, and more. We have clinicians who are trained in TF-CBT, EMDR, and other evidenced-based interventions in order to best help you achieve. Our clinicians have been helping members of our community for over 13 years and we are proud to be a trusted partner with many government and nonprofit agencies, including the Department of Family Services, Child Protective Services, Juvenile Justice Services, Parole & Probation, Nye County Juvenile Probation, and others.

My passion in the therapy field began with my interest in substance abuse/addictions where I have over 20 years of experience working amongst diverse populations in individual, group and family settings to promote healthy coping and lifestyle changes with children, adolescents and adults. I am licensed in Nevada with 8 years of professional work experience in helping clients coping with stress, depression, anxiety, loss/grief, PTSD/trauma, relationship & attachment issues, marital/family of origin issues and abandonment, abuse and neglect.

Shannon is able to understand these challenges as they relate to your life and to your mental health. Whether it is anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship conflict, grief, or trauma, Shannon would love to accompany you through the troubled times. Shannon’s experience in working with adults, children, couples, and families allows her to help guide you through your struggles. Shannon has over a decade of experience in the mental health field, graduated with a Master's in Clinical Professional Counseling and appreciates Mt. Charleston hikes, climbing at the Valley of Fire and, of course, the Golden Knights.

YCB will help those experiencing a situational problem, an immediate crisis, or have a longstanding mental health concern. YCB provides individualized service to children and adults, enabling them to recognize their strengths and teach them proactive life strategies to overcome daily challenges. YCB utilizes an evidence-based treatment approach and therapeutic practice interventions. The services can be in person or through Telehealth in the rural areas of Nevada.

Most are EMDR trained and are skilled in many different areas. We are able to offer counseling at a sliding scale if you need financial assistance.
