I have experience working with members of various communities including the LGBTQIA population, sex/gender diverse persons, individuals practicing ethical non-monogamy, and are in non-traditional relationships.

It is so important to allow yourself to be vulnerable and transparent to reach the core of who you are. I want to work with my clients identifying their true self in an environment where they are comfortable expressing who they truly are and begin their healing process. Every individual has their own story that deserves to be heard, so I will work with my clients to express not only what their story has consisted of but what their story can consist of in the future. I offer behavior support to children (1-12+ yrs), regardless of disability status, along with their families, teachers, and community members. Are you tired of getting incident reports from school? Struggling to get your child to follow directions? Just need resources for positive guidance? My goal is to help families identify the purpose (function) of the behavior, rank their priorities and goals, identify any skill deficits, and examine environmental variables. Then I can make recommendations regarding interventions and treatment planning that will be a good fit for you. All sessions and consultation is individualized.

I have a Master's of Science in Mental Health Counseling, focusing in Clinical Professional Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family studies. I am a licensed CPC in Nevada and a certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor. My therapeutic style is based on each individual client and group. In each session, clients learn more about themselves and their interactional patterns through talk therapy and art therapy. Prior to working as a therapist, I was a special education teacher. Working as a teacher taught me the importance of a trusting relationship. I love working as a therapist and my favorite part is the unique relationship I build with each client. It is through this trusting, judgement-free relationship that clients can feel safe to self-examine. I work side by side with clients to explore the root causes of unhelpful behaviors and identify a better way of relating to oneself and others.
