I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Independent Social Worker in Clinical Practice with Avance Care in Charlotte, North Carolina. I obtained my Master of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I have worked in a variety of settings including psychiatric residential treatment centers, foster care, group practices, and private practice. I enjoy working with teenagers and adults on an individual basis and offering group therapy. I specialize in depression, anxiety, life transitions, grief/loss, divorce recovery, and stress management.
I strive to make every client feel comfortable. I take time to develop a solid relationship with each client and to truly understand what they would like to see different. I also tend to use humor and encourage fun. I feel grateful to be part of the therapeutic process with my clients.
