Hi! I'm Lori Fields, MA LPC. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan, I enjoy working in person and via telehealth with older adolescents through adulthood - individually, as couples, in families, and in group settings. I hold a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and have also completed a full course of study at the graduate level in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have experience helping those dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, and life transitions among other issues.

Like many people in the helping professions, there was a personal reason I chose to pursue a career in mental health counseling. After struggling with some difficult personal experiences, I made the courageous decision to seek mental health treatment with a therapist. I know the struggle and hard work it takes to recover! This may include changing how you view yourself, how you navigate interpersonal relationships, or change behaviors that are interfering with your health and well-being.

Deb is comfortable working with a wide range of people, including those who have developmental disabilities, who are neurodivergent, who struggle to accept their sexuality, (or who are struggling to accept the way people view them), are wanting to recover from trauma, who are recovering from a brain injury, who experienced childhood neglect, or whose relationships are not meeting their needs. She enjoys working with both adolescents and adults.
