Great Relationships aren’t great because they have no challenges or struggles. Great relationships are great because individuals choose to find a way to make the relationship work. Sometimes, that includes relationship/family counseling. As a family and relationship therapist, I am here to help you work through the many challenges and struggles that often prevent couples/families from moving forward. I believe in individualizing treatment to help each family member/partner feel heard and loved.
I also work to help couples who have experienced infidelity. Affair recovery requires specialized understanding of the healing process that each partner will need in order to rebuild the relationship. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and incorporate this into work with couples and families.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in Marriage and Family Counseling I have focused most of my career working with children, families, couples and individuals. I view therapy as a collaborative relationship which encourages individuals, families and couples to heal and grow in a safe environment without judgment.
