I am a Blacksburg native, recently relocated back to the area, and have opened my practice to offer assessment, therapy, and consultation services. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing difficulties with learning and attention problems, executive functioning issues, and mood and behavioral difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and anger-management. Dr. Delp has 10+ years of experience supporting children and adolescents in a variety of contexts to improve behavioral and emotional regulation and support compassionate, client-directed goals toward a more fulfilled life. Dually trained as a clinical and school psychologist, she has expertise in and experience assessing & treating needs for children/adolescents ages 3 - 22. While Dr. Delp enjoys working with children of all ages and abilities, she has concentrated her training to support adolescents with ASD and comorbid mood disorders and supporting caregivers of young children newly diagnosed with ASD.

I am trained in EMDR for relief of trauma and both behavioral and psychodynamic/talking therapies which emphasize positive habits, good health and personal insight. Any change starts from within and sometimes we all need another perspective to grasp the whole picture so that problems or obstacles can be sensibly, sensitively and effectively handled. I work from a strengths-based orientation whereby the talents, skills, and interests can be identified.
