Indelible Changes was born out of the desire to help individuals, couples, and families break free from the chains that bind them.

The philosophy that guides me in my work with clients is a strong core belief in respect for each person's unique culture and heritage. There are no cookie cutter therapeutic interventions that work universally on all clients with the exception of the development of strong therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. I believe therapy needs to be meaningful, personal and tailored for each person or couple. A distinctive of my practice is to provide an integrated approach that treats the whole person. I am trained in Gottman Level 1 & 2, Prepare/Enrich certified, and use the skills learned when working with couples.

Being a human can be hard. We are given tools early in life to navigate this world and sometimes we get it right and other times we struggle for one reason or another. Sometimes milestones such as marriage, children, graduation and other life changes unearth unresolved trauma or repressed emotions. We do our best to recover from anxiety, depression, trauma and other stressors but sometimes we need outside support that goes beyond what friends, family and loved ones can provide.

I coach women and adolescent girls 16+ who struggle with people pleasing, fixer syndrome, and perfectionism to build emotional wellness skills to tackle unhealthy relationships that trigger anxiety and depression. I teach research based skills to help you overcome cycles of toxic relationships, family drama, codependency, rescue syndrome, self-doubt, and burn out. I understand the stress of feeling consumed by life and overbearing relationships. I can relate to life feeling too much, relationships feeling burdensome and overwhelmingly exhausting, wanting to leave everything, everyone behind and disappear. I'm here to support you.

Currently, I work at two online locations Supporting the Journey Counseling and Haymarket Counseling. I have worked in a non-profit, private practice, hospital, and with the juvenile correction system.  I have experience in providing therapy to adolescents, individuals, couples, families, mental health and substance abuse groups. I have been working with adolescents since 2002; dealing with depression, anger, self-esteem, personal/social issues, conflict management, and risky behaviors.
