My counseling theories most often practiced include solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, family systems, and client-centered. However, techniques used are drawn from different counseling perspectives in order to meet the clients' individual needs and strengths. I am LPC- Resident in Counseling. I received a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health & Addictions Counseling. I use and implement a Person-Centered approach with interventions stemming from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, & aspects of Art Therapy. My main approach is on developing awareness, because having awareness is key, as well as developing confidence and self-esteem.
