The decision to begin counseling can be difficult and finding the right therapist can be overwhelming. I am a generalist who enjoys working with a wide range of people. I provide a supportive counseling environment where clients can feel safe to explore the challenges in their lives and begin to make the changes to live happier, healthier lives. I strive to meet every client where they are emotionally and to always base our work on respect and collaboration. My goal is to help each client regain a sense of strength, control and satisfaction in his or her life.
I have extensive training in psychoanalytic therapy, family systems theory, affective neuroscience, and behavioral medicine, enabling me to work with a good deal of flexibility. I understand that when you're hurting, you need understanding and sensitivity. I fit therapy to my individual client's personality and needs.
