My client population includes, individuals seeking life balance, establishing a recovery network for long-term sobriety from addiction, including alcohol and mood altering substances. I offer services to teens and young adults transitioning to college, and career development. I will address anxiety and depression through the session as it relates to these transitions. I encourage working with families/couples to address boundaries, communication skills, and family history of addiction and mental health. I like to focus on the solutions, and less on the problems with individuals and families.

I'm Adrienne Parker, and I've worked in mental health for over 9 years, providing individual, group, and family therapy. What makes building and maintaining a personal relationship so difficult? It can be many things. Past and present experiences, patterns that you can't seem to break out of, childhood traumas, family influences, abuse (sexual, emotional or physical), post-traumatic stress issues, or your own expectations and anxieties. All of these factors can affect your relationships with family, friends and romantic partners.

Throughout the past decade I've worked with University of Houston's Graduate College of Social Work, Menninger Clinic, The Council on Recovery and Montrose Center. I have specific interest in working with men and couples who are looking to deepen intimacy within themselves and in their relationships. As an educator and clinical supervisor, I offer guidance to students as they establish and fine-tune their love for this work. I have 20+ years of experience working in psychiatric hospitals, medical facilities, community health centers, pediatric clinics, schools, and residential treatment centers. I offered many years to working with children, adolescents, parents, and families through child protective services, rape crisis centers, shelters, neighborhood centers, and adoption centers. I am experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders including PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, & Psychosis including the management of other symptoms that stem from family/ relationship conflict, social difficulties, poor school performance, and violence/ abuse.

Dr. David Pulley "Dr. Dave" earned his bachelor's in psychology from Howard University in DC and obtained both his Master's and Doctorate from Chestnut Hill College in PA. His Doctorate degree is in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy and a specialization in the subject of Soul Mates. As a result, he is known as an expert on soul mates and a pioneer of some of the clinically based models and theories on the subject. Dr. Pulley has created a team of clinical consultants (Tender Loving Care Clinical Consultations) who provide psychologically based consultative support for their client base.
