A graduate cum laude with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, I have experience working 7 years working in psychiatric hospitals and three years in outpatient treatment. This has given me excellent experience in working with people of all ages, backgrounds, severity of issues, and problems. I use a collaborative multimodal process and am specialized in working with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma. My CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) skills have been certified by the Beck Institute.

Counseling is best when it's personalized. There is no such things as a "one-size-fits-all" method to therapy. I have found that many of us have a combination of trauma and maladaptive behaviors that once explored and processed can dramatically improve the quality of life. I implement four cornerstone treatment approaches: EMDR, Mindful Movement, DBT(Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and expressive arts to calm the nervous system, resolve trauma and incorporate new behaviors.
