The Family Center for Therapy and Assessment (TFCTA) is a private practice owned by Dr. Gaston Rougeaux-Burnes (Dr. R.B.). Self-love and compassion are foundational to our well-being and you are as deserving of love and kindness as anyone else. Welcome! My services are offered under the supervision of Bryan Moffitt, Ph.D., LPC-S. Throughout life, there can be uncertainty when navigating change. Feelings of anxiousness, helplessness, or frustration can be present at any time. You do not have to manage those changes alone. My usual modes of therapy consist of Cognitive Behavioral and Emotion focused therapy.

Hi, I'm an early career therapist who specializes in neurodivergent folks and those who love them! Neurodivergence comes with unique challenges, but also some awesome strengths. I help those with ADHD and ASD learn to swim with the current, and stop swimming against it. I also help spouses, parents, and siblings of neurodivergent people improve communication and strengthen those relationships. I use several therapy methods to help create a cohesive relationship where everyone feels respected and heard. I'm looking for people who are struggling with neurodivergence and want to realign themselves in a positive way!

I have been privileged to work in health care and now in the mental health field. Each of these experiences has taught me so much about healing and overcoming. Since then I found through the use of 12 step work, along with continuous therapy, individuals, couples, and families saw the change they were seeking. Accepting New Clients! How we talk to ourselves is a direct reflection of how we feel about the world around us. These thoughts can come from others or internally. Changing our thoughts and patterns is difficult, but necessary. Traumas, stressors, anxiety, and depression are all factors.

My intention as a therapist is to support you in your exploration of ways to create an enriching and worthwhile life.
