Mrs. Rahim started RCCS in 2010. Her first experience in the field in 2007 was at the Veteran Hospital's Pain Clinic and In-patient Area. After Graduation, she spent some time in the Middle East and voluntarily served her time and knowledge with familial issues and women issues. She has experienced hospice and loss, & understands grief and suicide. Her years of experience is wide as she has worked with clients and their families about depression, anxiety, addiction, multi-cultural, multi-racial family and marital issues. She works well with adults and adolescents dealing with self esteem and communication issues.

I help adolescents and adults navigate various challenges including life transitions, relationship struggles, identity development, anxiety, depression, and emotion regulation. I take a person-centered and emotion-focused approach to therapy and adapt treatment specifics to the needs of each individual, couple, or family.

Many of us struggle with the fear of letting go...of something. It can be a frightening process and you may feel hopeless and helpless at times. However, the empowerment that can be gained by letting go and ridding yourself of negative thoughts can be truly life changing. It may be hard, but my role is to help you reach your personal goals. Counseling is my second career. In the earlier part of my life, I earned an MBA and spent 10 years working in international sales and marketing. I was moved to begin a new career helping other people after counseling personally turned my life around and provided me with balance and peace.

As a professional counselor licensed in 2010 and in private practice since 2015, I enjoy working with clients seeking a healthy balance in their lives. Working as a team, I find that the clients benefit most from collaboration to restore areas in their lives that are disjointed. My approach is practical, down-to-earth, and very nurturing. I provide services to adolescents and adults in individual, groups, couples, or family settings. I also offer anger management, grief counseling, and specialize in mindfulness techniques. My professional experience has also afforded me the opportunity to reunite families through the Department of Family Protective Services.

Therapy is a journey, and some clients enter my office with very little to no hope for themselves or for change. I assure my clients that I will hold the hope for them until they can hold it for themselves. I believe that therapy is most effective when we explore the source of our self-limiting beliefs. This involves looking into our family of origin, and how we came to think, feel and behave as we do. Through exploring the source, clients often come to see themselves in a new light which helps them develop a deeper sense of self-love and worth.

I am passionate about helping individuals and families reach their unique, personal goals. I believe a client grows best when there is a positive therapeutic relationship built in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere. Over the last seven years I have provided care and treatment to individuals looking for similar support as yourself. I have worked with minor children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, couples, married couples, families, groups, veterans, and the senior community all for the same reasons; to provide care and treatment during challenging times.

I am passionate about working with people who want to find their most authentic selves. I work to meet people where they are and to help them learn tools to reach the goals they set for themselves. I work with individuals, adults and adolescents, as well as couples. I am an eclectic therapist and individualize therapy to what the clients needs. I have extensive training in addictions and is excited about the opportunity to work with clients to help them envision the life they want.
