Hello, my name is Jonathan and I thank you for visiting my page. Joining counseling tends to be a little bit scary and anxious-provoking. In addition, your friends or family members might think that you are wasting your time and money. So, I can understand how cultural and even your mind will try to convince you that you don't need counseling. So, when is necessary to participate in counseling? I would say whenever you want to get to know more about yourself, when you are noticing doubts, sadness, anxiety, anger, loneliness, and other factors interfering with your sleep, mood, relationships, and daily performance.

I am a bilingual/multicultural counselor with experience working with individuals with mood disorders, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, women’s issues, codependency, and family of origin dynamics and issues. I have also worked with individuals struggling with life transitions that bring bouts of anxiety and depression. I have over ten years of experience working with individuals navigating the journey of grief, PTSD/trauma, and those who experience suicidal ideation, self-harm and difficulties with coping.

Whether you are struggling to deal with anxiety or depression, relationship issues/separation, family conflict, difficulties managing child behavior, reaching personal goals, fear of the uncertainty, trauma, death of a loved one, childhood abuse, or the challenges of the current pandemic has brought forth, know that I am here to help you every step of the way. We treat Anxiety and Trauma disorders and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couple. We utilize EMDR and Virtual Reality Immersion Therapy to address the issues causing pain. Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful memories and the sensations associated with those memories. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. Also, we offer same day emotional support letters for (pets).

Veronica focuses on creating a healthy environment where clients can feel cared for, pressure-free and understood. Being able to help clients to find a safe place where they can connect with themselves is her passion and motivation. She decided to become a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate when she realized the need for counseling services for minority populations and vulnerable communities. Veronica desires to help people from different backgrounds, cultural and sexual identities, financial situations, and life experiences.
