Venecia is a married, retired veteran of the Air Force, mother of one daughter and two grandchildren. She received two M. A degrees from DBU, in Professional Development and Counseling and an M.Ed. from Prairie View A& M University.

Dari Cosey graduated from Alabama State University with a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She works with adults and families in the areas of anger management, suicide prevention, parenting skills, and marriage counseling. I am a Survivor of domestic violence. My name is Wanda R.W. McKinley, and I went through over 22 consecutive years of abuse. When we go through traumatic experiences in our lives, we sometimes find it hard to express our feelings and thoughts to others. Those trapped emotions eventually find their way to the surface and causes us to react in negative ways. Being a Survivor I understand the importance of being able to express yourself even if it is not verbally.
