I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I seek to assist kids, adolescents, individuals, and families to resolve or better cope with a wide range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, relational or social problems, parenting issues, divorce recovery, and trauma. My background includes working with children and adolescents in a school setting for the past 29 years, including working as a school counselor for the last eleven years. In addition to my work with children and adolescents, I obtained my LPC licensure, so that I was able to work with individuals and families as well, which I have done since 2016.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I assist children, adolescents, and adults working through complex trauma, shame, anxiety, and other disturbances. I utilize a variety of methods, aimed to help you heal, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, HeartMath, TF-CBT, EFT Tapping, and Sand Tray. When working with clients, I join them in their journey, walking alongside for the time we are working together. I believe the human person is made good, made for relationship, and that fullness of life is found in being able to be a gift to another. I believe life can be hard sometimes, and this can hinder our ability to have what we hope for in relationships. In therapy, I work with clients to resolve the concerns that prevent them from achieving the goals they have for their lives; with a focus on the healing of past experiences of trauma. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve my clients.

I have a passion for working with youth who are navigating trauma, anxiety, identity, substance use, and other mental health issues. I'm specifically honored to serve LGBTQiA+ folks as a proud member of the queer community myself. I love helping anyone tap into their autonomy, self-love, find their strengths, and accomplish their goals. I practice harm reduction, which helps people determine how to do what they want to do (whether that be coming out as transgender or non-binary, building community, sexual exploration, drug use, etc.) to their own level of comfort and safety at their own pace.
