Dr. Ken McGill has been counseling for 25 years. Dr. McGill has a BA in Religion, and his Masters in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Dr. McGill has his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and is a Licensed MFT in Texas and California. Dr. McGill holds a certification in Alcohol and Drug Studies from UCLA, and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist. Dr. McGill directed a residential treatment program for people challenged with sexual compulsivity, relationship addiction and sexual trauma. Dr. McGill also respectfully supports the integration of spirituality into the clinical treatment process.

I received my Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I have clinical experience in counseling children, adolescents, and adults with issues that include anxiety and depression, grief, behavioral issues, self-harm, multicultural issues, trauma, life transitions, domestic violence and abuse, and family/relationship conflicts. I am trained in TF-CBT and an LGBTQIA+ friendly counselor. Additionally, I utilize play/activity therapy for kiddos who are in need of services.

I utilize a variety of methods, aimed to help you heal, such as EMDR, Brainspotting, HeartMath, TF-CBT, EFT Tapping, and Sand Tray.
