FSC also collaborates and provides services at multiple community-based settings to best serve client needs. FSC employs a professional staff of skilled clinicians who hold degrees in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or closely related disciplines. Our clinicians join clients in identifying solutions to meet and respond to life's challenges. FSC's programs include the Individual and Family Program, the Juvenile Justice/Oasis Program, the STAR Program, the Community Support Services Program, Prevention and Outreach Services, and Victim Support Services.

I am the Owner/Director of TLCC "where an open ear is always here". I specialize in severe mental health issues ranging from psychosis, anxiety, depression, mood disorders. As a therapist, I have designed my practice and intensive outpatient clinic to provide services for severe mentally disabled children and adults.

I am an English/Spanish counselor whose main goal is to help my clients find hope, resilience and solutions to their problems. My academic and life experiences have shown me that most challenges and frustrations have solutions. I help my clients understand that the solution is within him/her during those moments when they feel they're unable to endure life's challenges and problems. We uncover the "where, when, and how" and then we find the "why" (reasons) underlying the feelings of doom and frustration. This allows us to discover and implement workable solutions.

I specialize in individuals who suffer from behavior, social, mental, and emotional barriers. My educational and clinical experience has equipped me with years of training analyzing behavior and mental disorders along with social and emotional adjustment. I utilize an integrative approach to counseling. Through my experience as a counselor I have gained competencies in mental processes and disorders and various therapeutic techniques such as behavior modification techniques, positive self-talk, coping skills, mindfulness, anger-management skills, and much more. I have a strong passion to educate and sow into the life's of others.

I have successfully taught children as early as those in Program Head Start, before becoming a Texas Teacher & School Counselor, and ultimately a LPC-Supervisor . As a child advocate who tries to understand the needs of the child in hopes of helping with mental or emotional turmoil. One may say or think that I specialize in treating children? This would be false, because I can't recall a situation where I could help the child without helping the parents, and even the whole family. Family history and dynamics plays a "Huge" role in your child's development and behaviors.

I have worked with adults, children, teens, and families for over 20 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I was originally licensed in Oklahoma in 2004 and became licensed in Texas when I moved here in 2013. At that time, I started my private practice. I see clients of all ages for individual and family counseling at the Grant Rd. location. I am only accepting adolescent clients (ages 12 and older) and adults at this time in the Woodlands location. I provide both mental health and substance use counseling (as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor).
