Our intention in, and the emphasis on, behavioral health in our practice is to be broad and inclusive in thinking about the role of behavioral health clinicians in medical settings and in the treatment of physical, as well as mental health issues. Behavioral practices associated with complications related to diabetes, obesity, and pain management is addressed in the treatment of all patient mental health issues.
Dr. Vittorio Puente is a licensed psychologist, with clinical psychology specialization, and licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP) who specializes in the treatment of adult depression and anxiety through behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches and the treatment of children and adolescents through the application of family therapy, directive play therapy, and cognitive behavioral techniques.
Our practice employs staff and clinicians who are bilingual Spanish-English, with supervised training experiences with Spanish-speaking, culturally-competent supervisors.
